亚盟历史简介
"The Federation Of Asian Photographic Art (FAPA)" was jointly launched in 1964 by Taiwanese photography master Long Chin-San, Japan Photography Association President S.Haruki, Vice Presidents Kanemaru Shige, Kikuchi Shinichi, Korean Photography Association President Ding Hee-seop, and Vice President Kim Jongyang, combining Japan, Major photographic societies in South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and other countries were jointly established on November 25, 1966.
The first congress was held in Taipei in 1966, with Master Long Chin-San as the first president and Zhou Zhigang as the Secretary-General. Since then, each country has taken turns to hold a photography exchange congress every two years. It has now expanded to the United States, Australia, Canada, and New York to organize delegations to participate, providing a platform for Asia. The largest transnational photography art association, which has great significance and influence in the promotion of Asian photography art.
